Do you accept walk-in patients?

We welcome walk-in patients for emergency dental care whenever possible. For routine and elective services, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure minimal wait times and full attention from your dentist.

What dental insurance plans do you accept?

Milton Dental Clinic works with most major Canadian dental insurance providers. We submit claims directly on your behalf and will provide a pre-authorization estimate before any treatment so there are no surprises.

How often should I visit the dentist?

Most adults benefit from a check-up and professional cleaning every six months. Patients with gum disease, a history of cavities, or other risk factors may need visits every three to four months. Your dentist will recommend a schedule tailored to your needs.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes. We understand that dental care is an investment. We offer flexible payment options and can work with you to find a plan that fits your budget. Please speak with our front desk team about available financing arrangements.

Are dental services covered by OHIP?

Most routine dental services are not covered by OHIP. However, the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program covers eligible seniors, and the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) covers qualifying Canadians without employer dental benefits. We can help you determine your eligibility.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID, your dental insurance card (if applicable), and a list of any medications you are currently taking. If you have recent X-rays from a previous dentist, bringing those can save time. Arriving 10 minutes early to complete a brief health history form is appreciated.

Digital X-Rays (Bitewing & Periapicals)

Low-radiation digital images that reveal decay between teeth, bone levels, and hidden problems not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Ray (Panorex)
